Triangle Fire Commemoration Posters 2011–2022
Every year on March 25 a ceremony is held commemorating the 2011 fire and the extraordinary wave of activism that followed. Since 2011 posters for the commemoration have been commissioned by the Remember the Triangle Fire Coalition. They were all created and designed by Esther Cohen and Laura Tolkow. Photos and videos from the ceremonies can be found at rememberthetrianglefire.org
Look for the “BUGS”—A Union Bug serves the same purpose as a union label, letting everyone know that the print job with the bug on it was made under fair and safe working conditions by unionized workers. The “bugs” are really printers’ union logos. They are very, very small—see how many you can find on these posters.
