Los Huachinangos Red Snapper by Dan Lutz

California regionalist painter Daniel Lutz (1906-1978) depicts a fisherman at work drawing on the primary colors of the Mexican village. The painting is part of the Labor Arts exhibit Scenes of American Labor with thirty nine paintings that evoke the individual and physical experience of work. The entire series is housed at the Sullivan Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA.
