“Ground Zero W.T.C “ reads the poignant graphic on the back of a black jacket worn by a man with a hard hat. The fallen segments of columns from the trade center in the foreground are set off by the vision of the towers still standing in the distance.
The photograph was taken in Battery Park at the dedication of “The Sphere,” a memorial sculpture by Fritz Koenig, March 11, 2002.
