Canadian Mine, Mill & Smelter Workers Ribbon.
A guest ribbon for the 9th Annual Convention in 1957 of the Canadian International Union of Mine, Mill & Smelter Workers. The union’s roots go back to the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and the Western Federation of Miners. Its. U. S. counterpart merged into the United Steelworkers of America, but the Canadian body has maintained its independent existence.
