Originally a New York artist, Mandelman (1912-98) moved with her New York artist husband Louis Ribak (see # 411) to Taos after WWII where they became leaders in the Taos Art Colony. These works were purchased from the Mandelman-Ribak Foundation that Mandelman established after her husband’s death to perpetuate their work and amplify their legacy. Book 507.
