Prometheus Sculpture

Prometheus, Rockefeller Center, 1974

In 1974, a special project at Rockefeller Center restored the gilt finish on the 18-foot high, 8-ton bronze statue of Prometheus. This photo shows Prometheus in place at the Rockefeller Center Skating Rink after refurbishing.
