Protest Participants March with Music

Participants in a march during 1992, organized in response to three cases of sexual abuse of female firefighters.  Protesters encouraged action and response from the mayor via marches, distribution of pamphlets, press conferences, and street theatre performances.  Unions and organizations that aimed to connect and empower female firefighters such as United Women Firefighters helped to fuel and create protests such as this one.
