“Fatima of New Royal Fabrics“

The Vendors of Newkirk series by Brooklyn artist Nina Talbot presents portraits of immigrant shopkeepers from Newkirk Plaza, a multicultural neighborhood in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. In “Fatima of New Royal Fabrics,” Talbot depicts one of the many international shops one would find near the Q train subway stop at Newkirk.
