This mural by Kathleen Farrell was created for a Service Employees International Union convention. Farrell is an artist and muralist who collaborates with community and labor groups to create public art that tells the often forgotten stories of the lives of ordinary people. Here she uses photographs to develop a composite of text and images that tell a story of union members working and demonstrating over time.
