Artist Steve Huston was born and raised in Alaska. This painting of movers reveals his eclectic influences, from Rennaisance art to the WPA muralists to the American comic book. It is part of the Labor Arts exhibit Scenes of American Labor with thirty nine paintings that evoke the individual and physical experience of work. The entire series is housed at the Sullivan Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA.
