In this painting Anders Aldrin uses color characteristically to convey intense emotion in a working class home. The people    appear silent, the two men seated seem to be in prayer. A woman is bringing food to the table, and the walls are bare.

It is part of the Labor Arts exhibit Scenes of American Labor, with thirty nine paintings that evoke the individual and physical experience of work. The entire series is housed at the Sullivan Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA.
