Peace march in Central Park, New York City
By 1968, rallies and marches against the war in Vietnam had become both more frequent and better attended. This one had signs calling for “Peace in the Middle East,” and had signs with “Peace” in English Hebrew, and Arabic, indicating that the situation in the Middle East was one of the concerns of this demonstration.
