Demonstration to support Greyhound Bus Co. workers, New York City
In 1983, the American Transportation Union (ATU) conducted a bitter strike against the Greyhound Bus Co. in New York City. Other unions in New York demonstrated their solidarity with the strikers by participating in their picket line, carrying signs with slogans like, “Greyhound Treats Its Workers Like Dogs,” and “Stop the Rabid Greyhound Company.”
