Fur and Leather Workers at the Labor Day Parade, New York City

The 1981 Labor Day Parade was an especially large one, in protest against President Reagan’s anti union activities. Black and white marchers carry signs supporting the striking air traffic controllers, whose union was destroyed by President Reagan during the bitter PATCO strike that year.
