Untitled (TVA drillers), 1942.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) was probably the most publicized project of the Roosevelt Administration’s New Deal, due to the size of the project and the impact it had on the lives of so many people. It was also the subject of an outstanding documentary film, The River, directed by Pare Lorenz.
