1962

Worker’s rally at the Plaza Hotel.

Workers at the Plaza Hotel demonstrate their support for the union’s success in achieving the 35-hour week in the 1962 contract. Warm weather may explain the absence of hats or coats, but it’s the year that accounts for missing hats, ties and other formal attire.
