“En memoria de los delivery boys que murieron, Sept. 11, 2001,” continues the hand-lettered sign shown in this detail of the shrine to bicycle messengers.  An American flag, a Mexican flag and a picture of the Virgin of Guadalupe are also visible.  Note the fresh flowers; this shrine also is in use four months after the attack.
