Cartoon by Fred Wright (1907-1984), the leading left-labor columnist from the 1940s through the 1970s, whose work was featured in the UE News, publication of the United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America (UERMWA) and dealt with both labor and social issues.  This cartoon shows that multinational corporations, which control the plants both here and abroad, use the threat of moving overseas to compel labor to accept lower wages and speed-up.
