This holiday poem, written by Labor Arts cohistorian Henry Foner for the newspaper of the union he headed, has the distinction of mentioning every significant component of the Fur, Leather and Machine Workers’ Union:

     As the holidays close in upon us,

     We’ve some greetings intended to show

     The bestowal of well-deserved honors

     On the best group of workers we know.
