We move from the pressers who worked on men’s pants and belonged to ACWA to pressers of women’s dresses in the ILGWU. The red fabric with gold lettering, fringe and tassels is not dissimilar. The ILGWU union logo in the center features a clear illustration of the thread that forms the outline of the logo, and the needle used to sew it, and the lettering reading: Int’l Ladies Garment Workers Union ILGWU AFL–CIO.
