One of the few graphics encompassing all of the locations of the 9/11
attacks. The stars represent the planes, one crashing into the Pentagon
in Washington D.C., two crashing into the World Trade Center in New York
City, and one that went down in a field in western Pennsylvania. Recovery
workers built this shrine, located near a plywood barricade at Ground
Zero. Note the wooden cross, and also the candles and other evidence that
the shrine is still in use four months after it was built.
